Christmas Trees
Skylark has been providing Christmas trees for more than 20 years. We invite families and groups alike to come out together to select and cut one of our 15,000 trees. Enjoying this experience will no doubt create lifelong holiday memories and traditions. During the 12 to 15 years it takes for Skylark’s Fraser firs to mature to a size ready to grace your living room or other special space, we take pride in gently caring for your tree. This year we look forward to seeing you again, or for the first time.

Our Fraser Firs
Uniquely located at an elevation of 3,300 feet, Skylark is in the perfect place to grow the premium Christmas tree — the Fraser fir. All of Skylark’s trees are Fraser firs. With its silvery-green color, half-inch to one-inch needles that are soft to the touch, symmetrical shape, suitable space between branches for decorations, pleasant scent and excellent needle retention, the Fraser fir may well be the perfect Christmas tree.
What to Bring
When your family or group comes to Skylark to find and cut your own tree, we’ll have handsaws available, along with twine to secure your tree to your car. We encourage you to bring a good pair of gloves, and feel free to bring a chainsaw if you like.

Prices & Payment
When you visit Skylark to choose a tree for your family or group, we want you to enjoy the experience by not worrying about comparing prices. We’ve kept things simple for you — all trees are available for your choosing for one set price: $40 (cash or check). There are a limited number of trees of extraordinary height that are available for special purchase.
